Kanelbulle in the Swedish archipelago och ferry to Helsinki

1 Day Stockholm
Today we have some time to explore Stockholm. Starting in Gamla Stan, where narrow cobblestone streets, the Royal Palace, and colorful buildings set a historic tone. After a short walk along the waterfront we have time to visit one or two museums, such as the Vasa Museum or the Nobel prize museum, without rushing to see it all. Lunch is best enjoyed at a cozy café, sampling simple Swedish dishes like a kanelbulle (cinnamon roll) and watching city life pass by. In the evening, there might be time for a stroll through a green park or along the harbor, taking in views of the archipelago before having dinner in one of many places the town offers.

2 Day train to Västervik and free day
we take the train today from Stockholm to Västervik and have time to visit the small town, a picturesque, lively old timber town wit cobbled streets, many nice shops and coffee places . You shouldn’t miss to try a Kanelbulle or paradise cake in Bageri 96′, a charming bakery, or a coffee at the stylish coffee bar Café Kannan

3 Day kayaking from resort 
Today we set off by kayak directly from our resort in the charming town of Västervik, heading out into the beautiful archipelago. We paddle through a maze of small islets, smooth granite rocks, and hidden sandy beaches, with countless perfect spots to pause along the way. There’s time to step ashore for a leisurely fika, soak up the quiet surroundings, or take a refreshing dip in the clear waters. A day of gentle adventure, nature, and simple pleasures at its very best.

4 Day Hasselo bike trip
From Västervik, a scenic ferry ride of about 50 minutes brings us to Hasselö, a peaceful, car-free island where time seems to slow down. Together with the neighboring island of Sladö, it stretches just 9 km from end to end, making it perfect to explore by bike. Simple bicycles can be rented on arrival, and with the island being completely flat, cycling is easy and enjoyable for everyone.
Along the way, we’ll pass quiet lanes, open landscapes, and glimpses of the sea at every turn. For the brave, there’s always the temptation of a refreshing dip in the water. Otherwise, the day can be savored at a gentler pace, ending with a relaxed lunch in one of the island’s charming little restaurants or cozy cafés.

5 Day Hike on the small islet

Today we pack our backpacks and set off to explore one of the smallest islets in  archipelago. Life here moves slowly, and the island’s quiet beauty is deeply rooted in its history, making it a perfect place to discover on foot.
Our walk takes us through peaceful forest paths and leads to a picturesque fishing village, where time seems to have stood still. Along the way, we’ll find inviting swimming spots and pause for a relaxed lunch at the island’s only restaurant, soaking up the calm atmosphere that makes this place so special.

6 Day overnight ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki
in the morning we take the train to Stockholm and continue in the afternoon by ferry to Helsinki. It is not just a ferry ride, it is a whole experience! Passing the wonderful archipelago of Stockholm and independent Åland Islands it feels like being on a cruise. You might want to enjoy a typical finish long drink on the boat or listen to some life music whilst watching the scenery.

7 Day arrival in Helsinki
early morning we arrive in Finland and have the whole day to visit Helsinki, which has a different feeling to Sweden. Participate in a public sauna, visit different finish designer shops, museums or just enjoy a delicious coffee in one of many coffee places and have a salmon soup at the market. Or take a short ferry ride to the Fort island Suomenlinna
