How it started
Since a child I was dreaming of other countries and life styles. I always liked the idea to discover/live in new places. So with my first own money earned, still at school, I left for weekend trips from Switzerland anywhere to Europe.
There was a time it didn’t matter where I would go, as long as it was a new destination. The bug stayed and I never stopped traveling, in different ways, as a volunteer, working or doing activities.
I just love to do it in a relaxed way, backpacking style.
Over the years many friends/ colleagues asked me if I could take them with me, so the idea started growing and now I would love to take anyone with me who shares the same principles
For me every country has so many places to discover and not only the most famous ones. So we won’t only see Paris in France or Madrid in Spain, but discover where the locals live and find new little places in every country.
My travels have taken me to Tanzania, Uganda, Ruanda, South Africa, Columbia, Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala, Argentine, Chile, China, India, Nepal, Madagascar, Yemen and many more.
Except of having the passion to meet other cultures I also love organising trips!
Having worked for quite a few companies as a travel guide I think the time has come to offer my own. Since 2006 we have Sea Kayaking Kefalonia together with my husband, which has also given me many experiences in leading/organising trips
